Together with our customers, employees, franchisees, farmers, producers and suppliers, we’re finding ways to reduce emissions and keep waste out of nature at Macca’s. The Supply Chain department have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join the team and make an impact on our sustainability projects, specifically focussing on recycling, waste, logistics and renewable energy. What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?
* Supporting and implementing a range of sustainability initiatives such as recycling programs, renewable energy purchasing, and energy efficiency measures to help McDonald’s to meet our ESG goals
* Leading vendor negotiations and overseeing competitive tendering processes whilst maintaining positive supplier relationship management
* Collaborating with global supply chain teams to align sourcing practices in line with global standards
* Staying abreast of market trends and industry insights to adapt the sustainability roadmap
* Collecting, maintaining and analysing data on emissions, waste and circularity and reporting accordingly.

Your keys to success:

* Experience in procurement, ideally within the FMCG industry
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure savings while fostering supplier relationships
* Experience in planning and delivering sustainability projects, particularly in packaging, recycling, renewable energy, and building efficiencies
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills for creating business updates and ESG reports
* Knowledge of climate science, Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) protocols
* Degree or formal training in sustainability, climate science, or supply chain management (desirable but not essential)
