We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Distribution Supervisor for our client in the FMCG industry, located in Cavan who has leadership skills, ability to lean into difficult conversations
The primary purpose of this position is responsibility for the end to end coordination and front-line leadership of all distribution activities within South Australia, ensuring the safe, efficient and cost-effective, loading and delivery of product from Dry Creek to various points of destination, locally, regionally and interstate.
- Salary Package: $90k including super + 7.5% STIP
- Night Shift – Mon-Fri (Sunday midnight) 12am-8am
Your main responsibilities will consist of:
LEADERSHIP

HSE
Provide the leadership to improve HSE and engagement to best in class levels Lead team to comply with all Company and Legislative HSE policies and procedures Maintain a safe and healthy work environment that does not tolerate unsafe behaviours or acts Understands and applies role specific HSE accountabilities.
QUALITY
Ensure food safety, legality and quality requirements are adhered to within warehouse and distribution.
This will include the reporting of food safety incidents, quality issues and adherence to requirements to ensure the integrity of the product is maintained.
Additionally the responsibility for reporting of incidents of product that does not meet specification either from a Quality, Food safety or legality perspective, this will include compliance of Non-conforming product procedures.
MANAGEMENT
Direct and manage the loading and delivery performance to meet service level times and budgeted resource requirements.
Recommend and implement process and cost improvements where identified.
Manage Compliance to client standards & investigations as required.
Manage labour to ensure costs (people and assets) are controlled within budget.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years relevant FMCG experience
- Extensive experience in SAP, excel. word & powerpoint
- Understandiong of GMP principles
- Leadership skills demonstrating team engagement, cultural change and process improvement
- Effective communication skills
