- Salary: WHA4 $1,128.60 to $1,140.30 per week (Pro-rata)
- Permanent Part-time position working 15.2 hours per week, over a 7 day roster
Overview
The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant works under the direction of the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator to deliver activities of a recreational and therapeutic leisure and lifestyle program aimed at enhancing the quality of life of the residents.
The Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant will promote resident’s independence by facilitating their involvement in programs designed to maximise their potential. The activities will comprise of social and diversional group activities, individual stimulation, and emotional support appropriate for a range of cognitive and physical abilities.
This role is intended for a Direct Care Worker who holds interest in leisure and lifestyle as a portfolio, and who will undertake this role combined with direct care duties, under the supervision and direction of the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator.
