The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Venue Manager with a strong focus on Food & Beverage operations. This prestigious role requires a motivated individual capable of leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in current food trends and possess extensive knowledge of local Adelaide Hills and French wines.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor front-of-house staff to uphold our high service standards. Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and continuous improvement.

Operational Management: Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring seamless service across all dining areas. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Menu Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to develop seasonally inspired menus that reflect current food trends and meet guest expectations.

Beverage Program Oversight: Curate and manage an extensive wine list, emphasizing local and French selections. Train staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales techniques.

Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events and promotions that align with our brand and drive business growth.

Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, with a focus on food and beverage operations.
