Please note that Forensic Science Queensland has recently been through a Machinery of Government change, and as of 1 July 2024, was administratively assigned to the Department of Justice.
You will provide strategic oversight throughout the project lifecycle and ensure alignment with organisational standards and best practices. Your role will involve guiding teams, mitigating risks, and maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality, safe services and workplaces for all ICT infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver ICT infrastructure projects in line with established standards.
- Manage project risks and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to meet quality deliverables.
- Develop written reports, presentations, and briefs for decision-making.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Adhere to service quality and safety policies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Other duties as required by the Manager, ICT Service Delivery.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in leading complex ICT infrastructure projects.
- Strong project management skills (e.g., Prince 2).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to lead and mentor teams effectively.
- Relevant qualifications in Information Management (IM) or ICT are desirable but not mandatory.
