We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Swim School Coordinator to manage our team of Swim Instructors who all aim to provide exceptional service to everyone who enters our Club.
About the role:
Be part of the team teaching pre-school children through to adults on learning how to swim. This role will initially offer approximately 20 hours a week and it may vary as the Swim School requires, continue to build the existing program while managing administration duties. The role is member focused and will require you to be exceptionally skilled at liaising with parents and their children.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating and monitoring a team of swim instructors
- Instructing classes on how to swim of varying age groups
- Some administrative duties
- Liaising with parents of children
- Administration & payroll for Swim School
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- AUSTSWIM qualification or equivalent
- Working with Children check
- Senior First Aid
- Resuscitation certificate
Please note:
- Flexible hours and days are required for this role
- Proof of right to work in Australia documentation will be required to be presented at the first interview
- All employees of Next Gen require a Working with Children Clearance
Essential Requirements
- Level 2/Senior/Apply/Provide First Aid
- Qualified Swim Teacher
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
