About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the 3D Health team as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife - Encompass, where you will be responsible for:
- Providing community health support services based on specialist knowledge in disability and health care needs.
- Using specific health plans to train and assess the competency of health support workers for individual children.
- Managing an allocated caseload, including reviewing and updating health plans and reassessing workers for individual clients across multiple venues.
- Leading and supporting Registered Nurses in other agencies providing delegation of care for clients with complex and invasive health care needs who may also have disabilities.
- Enabling safe access, attendance, and participation of clients in community settings such as education, childcare, family day care, or respite.
- Performing clinical responsibilities while managing assigned portfolios aligned with individual career development plans.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
