Join Our Team as a Consultant – General Surgeon: Provide Expert Care and Make a Lasting Impact on the Riverland Community
Are you an experienced General Surgeon dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care? We are seeking a passionate Consultant – General Surgeon to join our team and provide exceptional inpatient, outpatient, and community-based specialist medical services to the Riverland community and the broader population within the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). About the Role:
As a Consultant – General Surgeon , you will provide high-quality inpatient, outpatient, and community-based specialist General Surgical Services, as well as sub-specialty medical services, to the Riverland community and the broader population of the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert general surgical care to inpatient, outpatient, and community populations
- Supporting the education and training of health professionals within the network
- Conducting and supporting research initiatives within the LHN
- Encouraging and fostering teamwork for optimal clinical service outcomes
- Providing expert advice to internal and external committees and workgroups as requested

What We’re Looking For:
- Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians OR an OTD with an assessment form RACP as 'substantially comparable'
- Clinical experience relevant to the essential specialist qualification.
