We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Consultant to join our team and offer exceptional clinical services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to the Riverland community and the broader population within the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). About the Role:
As a Consultant – Gynaecologist and Obstetrician , you will undertake clinical and consultancy duties in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as directed by the Director of Medical Services at Riverland Health Services. You will play a key role in the supervision and clinical teaching of Registrars, Salaried Medical Officers, Interns, and Medical Students, ensuring the next generation of healthcare professionals is well-prepared. You will collaborate with a wide range of healthcare professionals to provide evidence-based, best practice management of patients.

What We’re Looking For:
- Fellowship of the RANZCOG (or equivalent), eligible for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of South Australia.
- Significant relevant experience in obstetrics and gynaecology (typically five years) including caesarean sections and normal vaginal delivery.
- Previous experience working in a public hospital setting.
- Experience in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Experience in, and commitment to, working within a multidisciplinary team with an interdisciplinary approach to services.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:
- DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
