EACH is thrilled to announce the establishment of our new headspace centre in Tasmania on Hobart’s eastern shore! headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation with EACH being one of the lead agencies. Each year, headspace nationally assists thousands of young people, and their family and friends, access vital support through headspace services in over 145 communities across Australia, including online and phone counselling services, vocational services, and a presence in schools.
Are you ready to play a crucial role in supporting youth mental health services? In this dynamic role, you will coordinate the day-to-day practice management and administration for headspace Primary and headspace Early Psychosis teams.
Your leadership will ensure efficient service delivery through the development and implementation of robust systems. You will manage administrative functions including IT services, facilities, and Medicare billing, whilst supporting a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to young people.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the administration team in delivering high-quality reception and administrative services
• Support new staff induction and contribute to recruitment processes as required
• Oversee Medicare billing processes and ensure timely claims submission and compliance
• Facilitate effective reporting and correspondence to meet stakeholder needs
• Efficiently manage resources and rosters to optimize client service delivery

About you:
We are looking for a proactive professional with the following:
• Significant experience in administration and leading a team within the health sector. A Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant discipline would be beneficial but not essential
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, adept at prioritizing tasks
• Proficiency in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and clinical software (e.g. episoft)
• Proven leadership skills with experience in team supervision
• Previous experience in an office environment, preferably within the medical or health sector
Additionally, you will possess a strong dedication to working with young individuals, ensuring confidentiality and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
