Requirements- Solid experience in business development or sales within the mining sector.
- Evidence of a strong network within the Bowen Basin region with a focus on Tier 1 & Tier 2 Clientele.
- Exhibit a “hunter” mentality with excellent closing, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Be forward thinking and solution focused in navigating current industry challenges
- Solid knowledge of the maintenance requirements of HME Equipment and Fixed Plant infrastructure, Trade qualifications highly regarded
- A Critical thinker able to develop strategies and actionable plans to adapt to market conditions
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Bowen Basin region
- Leverage of existing Clients to grow site presence
- Manage the company CRM platform
- Active site presence spending a minimum of 2 weeks per month conducting site visits and meetings, being seen and heard
- Promote the Company Brand highlighting our unique value proposition to clients.
- Stay informed on current market trends, conducting regular research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Negotiate pricing and agreements to secure long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure ongoing exceptional customer service.
- Monitor ongoing sales performance & deliver reporting to the management team that considers market changes and potential gaps.
