About the Division
The Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD) is responsible for supporting one of the largest technology networks in Victoria and leading the department's technology, digital capability, business systems and digital transformation. This network consists of Schools, Corporate and Early Childhood Education (ECE) including a school user base of more than 1500 Government schools, 50,000 teachers and 650,000 students. About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available at the Department of Education for a ServiceNow Support Analyst to assist with the development and maintenance of applications on the platform. You will gain experience by assisting with system administration, configuration, scripting, troubleshooting and issue resolution on ServiceNow. This role will work closely with senior developers and other team members to develop and support ServiceNow solutions across the entire application development lifecycle. Skills and Experience
To be successful in the ServiceNow Support Analyst role you will be able to demonstrate your passion, skills and experience across the following capabilities.
* Basic understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including system administration, configuration, and scripting. Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of ServiceNow APIs and data models.
* Strong willingness to learn troubleshooting techniques and effectively address technical issues under supervision. Seeks resolution of problems through policy or process guidelines.
* A keen attention to detail in developing code and documentation, ensuring quality and consistency.
* A passion for delivering quality solutions and a commitment to staying informed about industry trends and
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and advocate for preferred solutions and effectively influence stakeholders' decisions in a positive direction
