At Munro Footwear Group (MFG) we have an opportunity for a Senior Planner to join the Merch team on a 12-month Parental Leave contract. In this role, you will take charge of our merchandise planning and drive commercial success.
More about the role
* Develop and maintain merchandise and assortment plans across key categories.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to achieve sales and profitability targets.
* Conduct category and product analysis to determine buy quantities and inventory strategies.
* Manage order raising, stock allocation, and replenishment to optimise availability.
* Provide in-store merchandising and display guidelines to enhance customer experience.
About you
* Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Planner
* Previous team leadership experience
* Experience in inventory management within Retail - Footwear is an advantage
* Proven achievement of the department's sales and gross profit targets
* Ability to investigate and provide analysis of business and financial challenges, trends and improvement opportunities
* Skilled in commercial analysis to inform and confirm buying decisions
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
