The Future Fund Academy is the Future Fund's in-house leadership and investment development organisation. Its primary function is to act as a central pillar in ensuring the organisations unique culture, purpose and way of investing continues to be well-understood and applied by all our staff. To succeed in this, the Academy has developed dedicated programs that focus on investment technical skills, leadership development, and inclusion. As the Director, Academy - Investment Excellence, you will play a leadership role in continuing to grow the Academy, developing senior leadership programs, and leading investment courses that teach the way we invest. You will also lead the design and implementation of the Academy's leadership offsites such as the Inclusive Leaders Experience, which is the Future Fund's annual leadership development day for senior leaders.
The key duties of the position include
As Director, Academy - Investment Excellence your focus will be on enhancing investment education and leadership development. This includes designing and delivering comprehensive investment development programs that emphasise the Future Fund's holistic approach, as well as overseeing senior leadership initiatives like the Executive Excellence program. The role also involves directing significant Academy events, such as the annual Investment Competition and Inclusive Leaders Experience, to cultivate essential leadership skills among participants.
Additionally, the position requires leading programs aimed at improving decision-making quality in investment processes, such as the Good Decisions Program. Collaboration with the Investment team is crucial to ensure that training aligns with the needs of investment professionals. The role also contributes to the strategic direction of the Academy and provides leadership support to the Academy team, including executive coaching for senior leaders, ultimately shaping a skilled and effective workforce within the Future Fund.
