Are you passionate about driving quality improvement and fostering a culture of safety in healthcare? Holstep Health is seeking a motivated Quality & Risk officer to join a high performing team working to energise a newly merged entity within a new care & clinical governance framework. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for evidence based, outcome orientated care and wants to make a real-world impact every day.
YOUR NEW ROLE:
This role supports the maintenance of organisational compliance and improving service delivery processes, quality, efficiency, and effectiveness within the organisation. This role includes supporting people leaders across the organisation with accreditation, monitoring quality and risk, compliance systems, and supporting quality improvement and evaluation activities as directed by the Quality & Risk Lead.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Contribute to a culture that promotes safety, quality, and innovation through a commitment to continuous review and improvement.
- Provide support to leaders in driving key strategic quality improvement initiatives across the organisation.
- Support the maintenance of accreditation against the range of standards at Holstep Health.
- Analyse and interpret data to identify key areas for improvement.
- Support the management of the central policy repository, including document creation, review, and maintenance of the register.
- Support the organisation in meeting its privacy obligations.
- Assist with the administration of consumer feedback across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tertiary qualifications or experience working with a relevant discipline, e.g. Quality Management, Public Health, Allied Health, or Project Management.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary Quality & Risk principles, best practice, and the statutory and regulatory framework in which they operate.
- Highly developed communication skills with experience in report writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building capacity with the ability to sustain relationships and build cooperation.
- A core commitment to a no-blame culture, acting respectfully with fairness, integrity, and transparency in serving the best interests of all stakeholders.
