THE OPPORTUNITY

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a dynamic team. You will play a key role in designing, integrating, and optimising control systems such as PLC, SCADA, and RTU technologies. Working with both legacy and new systems, you'll help enhance system performance while maintaining seamless operations for clients. This is a long-term, secure role offering professional development, technical challenges, and autonomy in your day-to-day tasks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement custom control system solutions using PLC and SCADA technologies.
  • Integrate control systems with diverse industrial equipment, ensuring smooth operation across multiple interfaces.
  • Lead system commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring system performance meets client expectations.
  • Write and test PLC programs to automate machinery and equipment.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure project success and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including cybersecurity measures in control systems.
LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU
You will have proven experience in a similar role, are a quick adaptor, support innovation and enjoy success. You will have:
  • A degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with PLC systems like Rockwell Automation and Siemens.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in complex industrial environments.
  • Excellent project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and team player
  • Ability to travel to client sites for installations and troubleshooting.
