We provide mining solutions to tier 1 companies including Bulk Dozer push, Coal quality and recovery, Crushing, Civil works and Rehabilitation services. With our Head Office based Beresfield, our fully equipped workshop in Muswellbrook and assets across all major sites in the Hunter region we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee Maintenance Practices, Crushing Operations & client relationships & expectations.
The Role
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible to oversee maintenance and crushing activities, embed onsite reliability practises. Working closely with our maintenance team to ensure our equipment is kept to high quality and reliability. You will also oversee the performance of our onsite mobile crushing fleet, working with the team onsite to maximise performance. This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical knowledge, people management, and operational skills will drive success.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage site operations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.
• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and availability of mining equipment.
• Drive production efficiency to meet or exceed project KPIs.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of supervisors, mechanics and operators.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges to maintain project continuity.
• Monitor costs and budgets, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
• Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to deliver project outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a proactive approach, strong leadership qualities, and a solid technical background in crushing, mining, or heavy equipment maintenance.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, Project Manager, or Maintenance Superintendent level in mining, crushing,
• Strong technical maintenance knowledge of mobile equipment.
• Experience leading teams and managing client expectations.
• Ability to implement project plans, and schedules.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in site operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
