This role is responsible for assisting the Head of Draw Conduct in performing their duties and to be their primary backup. You will assist them in the management and supervision of all Lottery and promotional draw functions as well as working closely with the draw official team and liaising with government draw officials.

This role will also provide backup support for the Draw Administration Officials and as such you will be trained in the primary functions of a Draw Official.

As directed and supported by the Head of Draw Conduct provide on call support and/or attendance around daily draws.
What you'll do

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with team members, internal clients, regulators and external clients (e.g. media partners and Bloc contacts).
  • Develop and maintain skills and operational knowledge in relation to draw administration systems and processes.
  • Support implementation of draw administration initiatives and business projects as directed by the Head of Draw Conduct.
  • Support the Head of Draw Conduct with coordinating operational duties, financial administration, team rostering and reporting analysis as required.
  • Support the Head of Draw Conduct with coordinating and attending draw barrel and machine maintenance activities.
  • Provide support to external audits related to Game Administration functions.
  • Assist in managing relationships and work with a range of Media services and partners (Digital, print and television) to publish Lottery results in a variety of formats.
  • Support the integrity of lottery draws and Instant Scratch-its Games (opening and closing) through effective supervision of controls, monitoring, and staff training.
  • Periodically review Draw Game Administration tasks to identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Assist with external audits related to Draw and Bloc Game Administration functions.


What you'll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in technology, financial or assurance related discipline, or relevant practical experience.
  • Operational experience in a highly regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide and maintain a quality service under time constraints.
  • Engagement with regulators and auditors
  • Previous experience in coaching and developing individuals and teams.
  • Compliance focused and able to maintain confidentiality.
