Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Building Services Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our building services operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of facilities, maintenance, and support services HUB Team, contributing to the overall success and sustainability of our operations with some of Australia’s largest and well known Multinational.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of our wonderful service co-ordinators (The HUB) and industry sector leaders.
• Develop, report, maintain and manage budgets for industry sectors
• Forecast budgets for annual revenue targets and adjust accordingly throughout the year.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage a team of building services co-ordinator, field technicians and local and remote subcontractors, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with other business units to ensure seamless operations and communication.
• Provide monthly finance reviews and submissions to CFO and Managing Director.
• Prepare and manage budgets for building services operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Analyse performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to innovate and improve building services.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, aligned with our business values.
• Manage a team of building services staff, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities that foster a spirit of collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications:
• Experience in building services management or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in building management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
