Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with equipment inquiries, processing rental agreements, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant rental experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in-person, over the phone, and via email with equipment inquiries and rental processes.
- Provide detailed information on equipment usage, availability, and pricing.
- Process rental contracts, including paperwork and payment transactions.
- Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and efficiency, aiming for quick and satisfactory resolutions.
- Coordinate with the equipment service team to ensure timely preparation and availability of rental equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and yard.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Occasional equipment deliveries/collections
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hire or construction industry or a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about our products and services.
- Forklift and MR licence are an advantage
Working Hours:
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays 7-12pm.
