The Location
Located in Brisbane’s Bayside area of Thornlands, Bolton Clarke’s Moreton Shores is a 120 bed Residential aged care home providing s high-quality customer service and care to our customers.
The Role
We are looking for part-time Activities Officer's to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs
Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our activities officers facilitate this through:
- Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans
- Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
- Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs
Requirements for this role
- Experience in an Aged Care or supporting Residents with lifestyle and leisure programs
- Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle, or equivalent experienced deemed appropriate.
- Ability to provide high quality Leisure and Lifestyle programs towards improved customer wellbeing.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently as well as participate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the aged and community care environment.

To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a police check
- 2025 flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a care role is highly regarded
- NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain)
