Description:
Tecside are working with well-known manufacturer based in Crestmead as they gear for growth over the next few months. We have multiple vacancies for experienced Machine operators / production workers with a Forklift Ticket to commence as soon as possible.
As a machine operator , you will join a small but hardworking team where rolling up your sleeves and ' pitching-in' is essential to getting the job done.
At the beginning of each day, you will review orders and prioritise your day. Your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and safely operate simple machinery according to directions.
- maintaining an organised system of storage, receiving and dispatch;
- Following dispatch systems and procedures
- Operating in accordance with Safe Operating Principles and Procedures
- Cleaning and tidying the site.
- Gantry experience required for Afternoon shift role
- Brisbane South Side - Crestmead
- Afternoon and Night shift vacancies
- 8 hour days + Optional Overtime
- Temp to Perm Employment Opportunity
Experience :
- Exposure to production environments would be advantageous
- Fast past working environment
- Machine Operations
- Forklift experience
- Overhead Gantry experience
Requirements :
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Strong safety focus
- Willing to show enthusiasm and initiative
- Have a current licence & reliable transport
- Good communication skills and demonstrate initiative
- This position is subject to random drug & alcohol testing
- Able to work overtime as required
- Australian working rights
