We are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to play a pivotal role in shaping the safety culture and providing national support across our diverse operations. This role is based in our head office of Henderson WA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and help drive safety standards in high-risk environments, across diving operations and associated tasks.
The Role:
In this key position, reporting directly to the General Manager, you will own and elevate safety, health, and environmental practices across our national operations. Based in WA, this largely office-based role offers flexibility with some site visits, allowing you to directly influence and support our team across challenging operating environments. You’ll have the autonomy to create change, improve safety systems, and be a critical driver of a strong safety culture across the business. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership in HSE : Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE policies, procedures, and practices across national operations. Ensure safety standards meet regulatory requirements.

Risk Management & Incident Reporting : Take ownership of risk assessments, incident investigations, and project-based safety management plans. Proactively identify potential risks and implement solutions to mitigate them.

Site Visits : Conduct occasional site visits to monitor and assess HSE performance, ensuring safety measures are being effectively applied.

Advice & Coaching : Provide guidance and coaching to managers and teams, driving a positive safety culture and helping staff understand and adhere to best practices.

Continuous Improvement : Champion ongoing improvements to HSE systems, processes, and procedures. Help build a culture that prides itself on safety and quality.

Quality & Documentation : Collaborate with teams to ensure quality systems are maintained and aligned with the highest standards
About You:
You are a motivated, skilled HSE professional with a proven track record in managing safety within high-risk environments. You bring a passion for safety, a proactive mindset, and the ability to independently make change and drive improvements.

Qualifications : Minimum Certificate IV in WHS (Diploma preferred)

Experience : Proven experience in HSE roles, ideally in marine, construction, or high-risk industries. Strong working understanding of State WHS legislation and Australian / international standards. Commercial diving or maritime experience highly desirable.

Skills : Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities. A hands-on approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving safety culture.

Tech-Savvy : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management systems.
