Enrolled Nurse/Instrument Technician
Permanent Part Time 32 hours per week
Colac Area Health is seeking a dedicated, motivated and detail-oriented Enrolled Nurse to join our busy CSSD/Perioperative Services team.
Perioperative Services is a friendly work environment with a commitment to education and training.
The successful candidate must be committed to the provision of a high level of customer service and quality health care in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and sterilize reusable medical devices, instruments and equipment to meet high safety and hygiene standards in accordance with AS5369 Standards.
- Maintain the availability of sterile supplies across various departments and external providers.
- Assist in the safe and timely delivery of Perioperative patient care.
- Participation in the after hours on call roster.
As our ideal candidate you:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Specific qualifications and/or experience in CSSD/Perioperative Nursing or a committment to work towards
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organise work in a systematic, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment
- Demonstrated skills in teamwork, leadership and patient advocacy
- Ability to participate in the after hours on call roster
- Computer literacy
