Description:
We are currently recruiting for a new Planner to join our Utilities team in Beaconsfield, Victoria. Reporting to the Senior Planner, the Planner will ensure the effective preparation and planning of work packages to deliver the program of works. As well as the effective processes, systems and disciplines are in place and utilised to assist with the efficient delivery of the works program
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Effective work preparation in this context means that work crews can arrive on the planned date and can commence and complete the full scope of the planned work without delay or rework, within the allocated time.
- Prepare all work to the stage that it is delivery reviewed, and all preparation and planning completed prior to handing over the Field Delivery Manager for execution.
- Effectively package work as per the agreed standard
- Prepare all required documents as required to develop robust planning folders for field delivery.
- Ensure the works folders meet all standards as required
- Ensure all required authorities are notified of the planned works
- Visit sites as required to assess most safe and efficient delivery methodology
- Ensure the appropriate equipment is available and booked to undertake the works
ABOUT YOU
- A minimum of 3 years working knowledge of construction, maintenance, planning/scheduling work and operational techniques and standards as applied to electrical networks
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, GIS Mapping
- Experience in the preparation and lodgement of switching sheets
- An excellent understanding of HSEQ issues as they relate to maintenance planning
