About the role

Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join the CRCU team on a Part Time ongoing basis, 32 hors per week.
Reporting to the Unit Manager this role plays an important role in providing the care for inpatient clients and ongoing follow up for those clients receiving case management who are assessed as being stable and in need of psychosocial support and administration of Intramuscular injections and oral medications at CRCU, Latrobe Regional Health.
The successful applicant will:
- Monitor clients physical and mental state, undertaking basic nursing observations and attending to clients needs within scope of practice
- Contribute to the completion of CASP/ITP and care planning documents in collaboration with clients, carers, significant others and the multidisciplinary team, and within scope of practice
- Identify client's early warning signs and report to appropriate staff member
- Participate in client reviews and discharge planning, in collaboration with the client, carers, significant others and multidisciplinary team
- Carry out clinical procedures only for which training, supervision and level of competence has been achieved and recorded
