We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic OSHC Coordinator for our Wallan Our lady of the way service who knows how to bring the fun! We are looking for an EXPERIENCED coordinator who is ready to take their career to the next level! Our Wallan services caters for up to 145 children a session aged between 5-12 years old. We are looking for someone who is ready to ADVANCE their LEADERSHIP skills.
As our Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind exciting activities and experiences that ignite children’s imaginations and keep them engaged after school. If you’re ready to laugh, play, and create memories that last a lifetime, this is the job for you! The relationships and experiences you can create at this service are ENDLESS ! This role is supported by an Assistant Coordinator. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire the educational program, ensuring smooth daily routines.

Serve as the Responsible Person for each session, guiding both children and team members.

Plan and execute a variety of fun and interactive activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures.

Be the ultimate mentor, engaging in games and activities with boundless energy and enthusiasm.
-
Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

Continue and further develop a positive relationship between OSHC and School, ensuring a clear line of communication is upheld at ALL times.

Work collaboratively with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
-
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children, while keeping the fun alive!

Adhere to the NQS and Regulations- ensuring compliance is met at ALL times.

Ensure your program consistently is meeting and exceeding the Child Safe Standards.

Provide training and mentoring to staff on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications:
-
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification), or willingness to obtain.
-
Relevant qualifications in fields such as Education, Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Science, Youth Work, or Health/Allied Health.

Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.

Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

Police Check
-
A flair for thinking outside the box and bringing fresh ideas to life.
-
Previous experience working as a Coordinator for an OSHC service.

You’ll need to provide 2 professional references.

Shift times will be 6:30am-9:00am, 2:30-6:30pm (during School terms), varied shifts between 6:30am-6:30pm (during holiday program) PLUS admin hours!
