An exciting opportunity exists to coordinate aquatic programs at Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre and Council’s Outdoor Pools on a full-time, ongoing basis. This role involves leading Council’s Swim Teacher team and will include building and nurturing relationships with schools and other external agencies to respond to community needs and increase usage of Aquatic programs. The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in working within an Aquatic or Leisure facility with a sound understanding and experience in Austswim programs and programming.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team in an environment of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in leading marketing and promotional activities.
- The capacity to problem solve and develop solutions to issues that are the responsibility of position

Desired Skills and ExperienceCurrent Level 2 First Aid
Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or willing to obtain)
Current Victorian Drivers Licence
AUSTSWIM Certificate (Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety minimum, Teacher of Infant and Preschool desirable)
Working with Children’s Check
