Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
An Exciting opportunity has opened up to join the Hawkesbury District Hospital Team on our casual pool as an Enrolled Nurse. We offer a variety of ward areas both medical and surgical, ED and ICU.
Your role as the Enrolled Nurse is to ensure provision of safe patient care, provision of care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse specific to service need. You will contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required and communicate effectively with patients and other health care team members in accordance with appropriate protocol.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration to practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience and demonstrated skill in Acute nursing
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centred care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster
