Springwood Hospital was opened in 1976 as a community-based hospital in the Blue Mountains. Springwood community remains very active in supporting and raising funds for the hospital who provides a range of allied health, rehabilitation, aged care and palliative care services.
Springwood Hospital has a wonderful opportunity for an Enrolled Nurse to join the team in a Permanent Part time role. As the Enrolled Nurse you will provide p
rovision of safe patient care, provision of care activities to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse specific to service need and contribute to collecting accurate health care information and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required.You will show that you can c
ommunicate effectively with patients and other health care team members in accordance with appropriate protocol and monitors the impact of nursing care and maintains ongoing communication with the registered nurse responsibilities also include providing support and comfort, assisting with activities of daily living to achieve an optimal level of independence and providing for emotional needs of individuals. This position will see you demonstrate effective communication through use of appropriate language when interacting with patients, clinical and non- clinical partners and at all times be respectful, courteous and considerate.Our positive and innovative environment will offer many opportunities and career pathways whilst being supported by an experienced and dedicated team consisting of a Nurse Manager, NUM's, Nurse Practitioners, CNC's, CNE, CNS's and RN's.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration Division 2 (without notation) - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience and demonstrated skill and acute and chronic nursing
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person centered care
- Demonstrated effective communication skills - written and verbal
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day, evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit/service requirements.
