Shrink & Co is looking for the right candidate to join a dynamic team of mental health and disability Practitioners. We are seeking a very determined, enthusiastic, reliable team player willing to undergo pre training for a position of Front desk receptionist at our Robina rooms.
The selected candidate will be in charge of welcoming and dealing with patient inquiries in person and over the phone, and an array of administrative responsibilities, including billing and upkeep of patient database. Only applicants shortlisted for an interview will receive a phone call.
Selection Criteria:
- Prior administrative experience in any healthcare industry would be a plus
- Australian and permanent resident status
- Must have at least intermediate Microsoft Word/Excel experience and intermediate computer skills
- Passionate about health services
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities and duties include:
- General reception duties
- Operator (Transferring call and taking messages)
- Data entry
- Create and maintain customer records accurately
- Process transactions/payments
- Assist in the preparation of reports
- Address client enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Mailing and filing
- Clean and maintain the appearance of the clinic
- Other miscellaneous administrative duties
Essential criteria:
- Excellent and clear communication skills
- Experience in front office healthcare reception would be advantageous
- Competent computer skills (Apple user would be a plus)
- Ability to multitask and follow direction
- Ability to work proactively whilst also taking direction
- Ability to work in high pressure environment, with changing workloads and priorities
- Ability to think on your feet
- Strong organizational skills
- Polished presentation
- Ability to work with a variety of Clinical Practitioners across a multidisciplinary environment
- Commitment to confidentiality
- Flexibility
Other essential criteria:
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance Check
- Blue Card and Yellow Card Exemption
- NSW Working with Children’s Check
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Full immunization record including triple dose COVID-19 vaccination
- Unrestricted Driver’s licence and willingness to travel
Remuneration is commensurate on age, skill and level of experience.
Initial training (first 4 weeks) might be conducted at our Tweed Heads room to allow for a comprehensive and optimum training experience.
