Are you an experienced Operations Team Leader or looking to take the next step in your career?
As part of the Supply Chain team, this role will be to lead the production team at one of our sites in Bathurst, providing direction and support to the team, ensuring productivity targets are met and leading innovation and change across the shift. This role will be working on the Day Shift (6am - 4pm, Mon-Thurs) .
The key responsibilities of this role include:

Responsible and accountable for occupational health and safety of employees and contractors.

Continuous improvement of safety and production performance on their shift.
-
Provide leadership and direction to direct reports.
-
Maintain quality and production standards on their shift.
-
Assist in developing people & identify training needs for shift personnel.
-
Employee relations; Creating, implementing & ensuring the maintenance of a sound industrial relations culture on their shift

Pallet Repair

Forklift Operation
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
-
Demonstrated supervisory experience in an automated & people paced industrial production environment
-
Experience in conflict management, negotiation and people management
-
Problem solving & decision-making experience with ownership & accountability in a similar environment
-
Exposure to continuous improvement processes and practices
-
Good written and verbal communication skills
-
Good understanding of mechanical and production equipment
-
Good general knowledge of WHS principles & practices
-
Some Computer literacy
