The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Rebates & Credit Analyst to join a growing business based in Eagle Farm, QLD. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation, and allocation of supplier rebates across the business network. You will play a key role in liaising with suppliers and internal teams, driving efficiency in rebate management, and supporting financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, reconcile, and allocate rebates received through the accounting system
• Collaborate with the transactional accounting teams regarding rebates
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure invoices generated for rebates align with trading terms
• Monitor and review scheduled rebate payments and manage collection for outstanding rebates
• Ensure accurate recording and management of trading terms for suppliers related to rebates and settlement discounts
• Maintain and update rebate registers and prepare reports on received and overdue rebates
• Provide rebate and settlement allocation details
• Support the onboarding process for new suppliers and ensure ongoing maintenance of supplier information within internal systems
• Assist other finance and administration teams with relevant tasks as business requires

Prior Experience

• Experience in credit or analytical role, with an interest in rebate and settlement discount processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, multitask, and manage competing priorities efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and strong time management abilities.
• Experience managing reporting deadlines and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
