Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse role. Duties include data entry, specimen handling, processing, and non-technical laboratory duties.
Demonstrated ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner and without supervision. Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and with members of staff.
Demonstrated ability or ability to quickly learn to utilise Laboratory Information Systems and ieMR
Demonstrate above average attendance and punctuality.
A demonstrated commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement.
Knowledge of, or ability to acquire knowledge of, procedures policies and regulations which impact on the position, the Department of Health Code of Conduct, and a knowledge of contemporary human resource management issues such as workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination.
Qualifications, registrations, and other requirements

It may be a requirement to work at Robina Campus periodically with discussion via the Hiring manager.
While not mandatory, a Certificate III or IV in Pathology Assistance or the equivalent would be an advantage.
It is mandatory for the successful applicant to participate in Day & Overnight Shifts as well as weekend & Public Holiday rostering.
