About your role:
- Provide high level psychological assessment, consultation and brief interventions for patients of the high risk foot clinic.
- Show a high level of understanding of the environment in which clinical decisions are made to influence health outcomes and ensure that service initiatives are integrated into clinical practice, work unit guidelines and service procedures.
- Utilise high level communication skills to provide professional advice to medical and nursing staff, allied health professionals, non-professionals, community organisations and to patients and their carers regarding clinical and health psychology areas.
- Lead quality improvement activities within the work unit, as well as activities that contribute to psychology services and professional standards within the broader hospital and health service.
