Position: Program Operations Officer

Locations including: Several locations around Regional & Remote QLD (Including: The Townsville area) , and wider Australia.

We are committed to supporting the engagement, education and empowerment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young men in remote Australia. Through innovative educational programs and community engagement, we aim to inspire and equip indigenous youth with the skills and knowledge to succeed and thrive in life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the delivery of the engagement programs tailored to the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth in remote communities.

  • Provide leadership and support to young men and the broader community.

  • Support program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed.

  • Plan, organise and deliver a range of activities and camps that engage young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men.

  • Foster positive relationships with youth participants, families, and communities.

Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth through education.

  • Proven experience in program delivery within an educational setting, preferably in remote areas.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Resilience and adaptability to thrive in remote and challenging environments.

  • Have high energy and have the ability to work as a part of a team.

  • Current Drivers license, Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance
