Description:

We have an exciting opening for a Senior Advisor (Resourcing) who will play a pivotal role in the Business Solution Delivery unit within the Information Technology Branch (ITB). This is your chance to be at the forefront, ensuring that our team and partners are empowered with necessary resources to excel in both project and work package activities, thereby contributing to the drive of our Information Communication and Technology (ICT) Program of Work.

Key Responsibilities:
As our new Senior Advisor (Resourcing), you will:
• Lead and Mentor: Guide our dedicated team with leadership and mentorship in resourcing tasks while instilling a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage Resources: Oversee the procurement of contract resources in alignment with the ITB Contracts unit, while efficiently handling all processes and support tools.
• Reporting and Analysis: Offer insightful regular reports on resource allocation and workload trends, providing recommendations and implementing strategies for emerging issues.
• Process Compliance: Establish and uphold procedures aligning with TMR and ITB legislation, policies, and business needs for the effective provisioning of project resources.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships within the branch, across other government agencies, and facilitate discussions to ensure optimal resource
allocation.

Role Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will have:
• Demonstrable skills in nurturing productive relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders.
• A background in resource allocation and a general understanding of Qld Government GITC procurement and finance practices.
• Proficiency with project management applications, practices and reporting tools, like Project Online, Sharepoint, and Power BI, and skills in Microsoft Excel.
