Spark Tasmania – A Role with Real Impact

At Spark Tasmania, we put participants first. We’re a growing organisation that offers and values flexibility, work-life balance, and a commitment to delivering personalised, high-quality support services.

The Role – Team Lead

This role is all about making a difference. As a Team Lead, you’ll work closely with participants while supporting a dedicated team of Support Professionals. You’ll have the flexibility to shape the role as the organisation evolves, ensuring participant needs are always met with care and professionalism.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support Participants – Be hands-on in delivering participant-centred care and ensuring their needs and goals are prioritised.

  • Lead & Mentor – Guide Support Professionals, fostering a positive and supportive environment.

  • Adapt & Grow – As Spark Tasmania expands, help shape processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Build Relationships – Work closely with participants, families, Allied Health Professionals, and funding bodies to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Ensure Quality & Compliance – Uphold high service standards and align with industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong leader with a passion for participant-focused care.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to guide and support a team while being adaptable to change.

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to making a difference.

  • The skillset to solve problems whilst thinking outside the square to achieve quality outcomes.

  • Capable of staying composed while resolving issues in high-pressure situations.

  • Required checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, and two professional references.

  • A valid Australian driver’s license.

Why Spark Tasmania?

  • Participant-first approach – Your work has a direct, positive impact on people’s lives.

  • Flexibility – A family-friendly workplace that supports work-life balance.

  • Growth & Opportunity – As our organisation expands, so do the opportunities for our team.

  • Supportive Culture – Be part of a team that genuinely cares about staff and participants alike.

If you want to be part of a values-driven organisation where your work truly matters, we’d love to hear from you!
