The role:

  • Provide clinical leadership, and professional support to Psychologists working in Psychology Services South, ensuring that evidence-based practice is provided in accordance with organisational policies and the professional code of conduct of the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Assist the Manager Psychology Services with coordination and management of Psychology Services, including recruitment and supervision of staff and students.
  • Provide clinical leadership in quality improvement initiatives and maintain relationships with key clinical stakeholders.

The Psychology services team are:

  • A team of Clinical psychologists, Neuropsychologists and Health Psychologists working alongside multidisciplinary professionals in allied health, nursing and medical teams
  • We offer professional development support, peer review and clinical supervision including to new graduates and psychology registrars.
  • Support, mentoring and development from a psychology and allied health leadership team.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working up to 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing 30 June 2025 until 1 January 2026.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:

$123,717 to $138,296 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022

Allowances:

  • Please note that access to salaries beyond $130,900 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  • Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
