Opportunity

We have an opportunity for two motivated and personable Analytical Scientist (Graduate entry level) to join the Immunoassay Team at Agilex Biolabs on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be primarily responsible for performing validation and sample analysis within the bio-analytical laboratory under the guidance of Senior Scientists.

Responsibilities

  • Perform sample analysis and validation with support from trained staff.

  • Processing of assay data.

  • Preparation of solutions/samples required to perform sample analysis.

  • Perform quality control checks.

  • Support the Lead Analytical Scientist - IA with project related tasks as required.

  • Support the Analytical Team Leader - IA with additional tasks as required.

  • Manage and maintain equipment, reagents, laboratory stock and waste as directed.

  • Operate laboratory equipment with proficiency.

Requirements

  • Ordinary degree in the appropriate discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience in a regulated bioanalytical laboratory (desirable) .

  • Proven ability to set priorities, analyse problems, formulate clear and effective solutions and co-ordinate a number of tasks simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated initiative, trust and reliability and the ability to work unsupervised.

  • Proven ability to maintain high moral and ethical standards in general and in particular in relation to confidentiality.

  • Proven ability to deliver tasks on time and with a high degree of accuracy.

  • High attention to detail.

  • Excellent level of written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent Word and Excel skills.
