About the role
Onsite leadership and service development to achieve organisational goals. This role is vital for maintaining high-quality service delivery across various programs, including counselling and domestic violence prevention, while focusing on expanding services and building partnerships with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include identifying service gaps, collaborating to develop solutions, supervising staff to enhance leadership capacity, and contributing to the overall development of the organisation. Strong leadership and the ability to navigate complex environments are essential.
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualification in Social Work or related field and demonstrated expertise in at least one of the core areas of service delivery for this region (counselling, financial wellbeing, housing support, family support and domestic violence prevention).
- Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal organisations and other services.
- At least 5 years’ experience in managing and supporting diverse staff groups, including the capacity to provide strong leadership and supervision to staff and foster positive team culture.
