Primary Objective:
The Senior Clinician conducts comprehensive criminogenic risk and needs assessments, undertakes and supervises the delivery of criminogenic needs programs, individual interventions and other psychological services for young people within the youth justice facility and the community in the Northern Territory. The position provides specialist input and support to Department of Corrections and other agency case-management providers, treatment plans, court and parole board reports as required. Additionally, the Senior Clinician works with various teams in community, custodial and home-based settings alongside other Clinicians or multi-disciplinary teams.
Assistance is also provided to the Principal Psychologist to develop, deliver and evaluate treatment programs to young people, as well as provide peer consultation, training and professional support to colleagues as required.
