FIFO from Townsville Base Salary $130,000 + $25,000 location allowance + super Roster - 8 days on 6 days off

The Role
The purpose of the Safety Advisor role is to support operations in all aspects of health and safety for the Phosphate Hill site.
You Will Be Responsible For But Not Limited To
Being present in the operating areas, interacting, coaching and educating personnel on safety and health Coaching leaders to carry out effective investigations into incidents and reported hazards Ensure all safe work systems, procedures and standards are adhered to through frequent inspection of the workplace Attend, lead and take part in daily meetings Review documents and update where required Develop and deliver safety coaching programs, adhoc safety improvement programs and incident reduction projects
What You’ll Bring
Ideally we would love to see you come from a Chemical, mining, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment.
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or greater Prior training in Incident Investigations Great communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships Strong knowledge and understanding of cultural and behaviour-based safety principles Ability to learn new software systems

The Site
Northern Australian Operations consists of an Ammonium Phosphate Mine and Processing Plant (Phosphate Hill) and Sulphuric Plant (Mt Isa) in North Queensland. The facilities comprise of ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, granulation and sulphuric acid plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation and housing to support the permanent workforce.
