About the banking and projects teamOur Banking and Projects group advises leading Australian and international financial institutions, investment banks, corporations and private equity funds. We act for lenders, borrowers, sponsors and consortia on a range of issues from high-value corporate transactions to complex restructuring projects.
Some of some our transactions in Perth include:Northern Star Resources Limited - $1.5 billion+ syndicated corporate facilities and hedging arrangements.Paladin Energy Limited – US$150mln secured syndicated facilities with Nedbank and Macquarie Bank relating to, among other things, financing for the Langer Heinrich Uranium Project in Namibia.Bellevue Gold Limited - A$200m project financing with Macquarie Bank and hedging for the Bellevue Gold Project in WA.Macmahon Holdings Limited - A$250 million secured syndicated debt facility with HSBC as Mandated Lead Arranger and Bookrunner and their A$145 million syndicated asset finance facility, with National Australia Bank as Mandated Lead Arranger.Working alongside partners Trish Chapman (https://www.gtlaw.com.au/people/trish-chapman) and Dom McGreal (https://www.gtlaw.com.au/people/dom-mcgreal) you will be joining a team of highly motivated and ambitious individuals who are all recognised as leaders in their field. You should be an ambitious high performer, looking to work in an environment where your performance will be duly recognised and rewarded accordingly. In addition, you will have:3+ PQE, with strong exposure to leveraged, acquisition, project and/or corporate/real estate finance transactionsA desire to work on technically challenging mattersOutstanding drafting and advice writing skillsSuperior analytical skillsThe ability to work effectively with clientsThe ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
