Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality welding and fabrication on marine vessels and structures.
- Specialise in SMAW/Stick, GMAW/MIG, FCAW and GTAW/TIG welding on carbon steel materials.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tools.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of welding/fabrication experience.
- Qualified boilermaker with a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent (Desirable).
- Proficient in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
