About the Role
As a Boilermaker, you will play a key role in fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and piping systems for both workshop-based and site projects. This role offers variety, challenge, and the chance to work with cutting-edge machinery in a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings, blue prints, plans, and specifications

Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components
-
Perform high-pressure welding for piping and structural systems in accordance with industry standards
-
Set up and operate manual and automated welding equipment
-
Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding with precision and safety
-
Conduct inspections to ensure fabricated components meet quality and safety standards
-
Operate hand and power tools to shape, cut, and assemble metal parts
-
Fit and tack weld parts into position for final welding
-
Carry out maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and heavy machinery
-
Uphold workplace safety, environmental, and compliance standards
About you
Required:
-
Certificate III in Engineering- Fabrication Trade or equivalent
-
Qualified Metal Fabricators, Pressure Welders, and Welders (First Class)
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in welding and metal fabrication (preferably in mining or heavy industry)
-
Current Australian driver’s licence and full work rights in Australia
-
High attention to detail and a strong safety mindset
Desirable:
-
Confined Space and Working at Heights certification
-
High-Risk Work Licence (e.g. Forklift, EWP)
-
Pressure welding experience highly regarded
