About the Role:
HP is currently seeking a dynamic individual to be a Wholesale Account Manager to help develop and continue to grow our fast-paced Distribution business. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills who is passionate about building relationships with their customers and delivering on their commitments. To ensure our continued success in driving and growing PC & Printing business, we are looking for an outstanding Wholesale Account Manager to focus on managing and developing relationships with our Distributors. Ideally, you will have a proven track record of success, in a channel sales or partner role within the technology sector with a high degree of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities: -
Serve as the expert regarding information on HP products, services, and software transitions, promotions, in PC and Print
Proactively lead quarterly and annual joint partner planning process with the distributor and transform this into joint sales activities
Lead HP Australia Office and Home Printing as a team leader
Lead strategic and tactical initiatives to drive mutual growth
Lead end to end ranging and buying discussions across multiple HP PC, Print, Services product categories
Promote HP offerings to become an integral part of the distributor’s business and solutions
Represent the HP brand to end-customers, distribution and channel as required
Establish and maintain account plans to promote sales growth across all Product Segments
Work to achieve or exceed the assigned quota for HP products and attach services
Influence a team of selling professionals within the distributor
Transactional and relationship selling working within, and influencing, a team of selling professionals at the distributor where required.
Actively engage HP resources and senior executives to build strategic relationships with the partner, ensuring long- term business opportunities for HP
Provide the business rationale and risk assessment for making HP investments in the partner
Ensures partners are compliant with legal and SBC practices
Work closely with our teams to, recruit and develop business relationship with new unmanaged partners where needed
C-level engagement and proven track record of experience
Travel interstate on a regular basis as part of national coverage requirements for the role
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate distributor needs on an ongoing basis
Present, train and enable HP Distributors in defined territory
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
University or Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory or, show related industry experience
Demonstrable track record of sales experience
Strong relationship building skills
Several years’ experience selling to partners/distributors, preferably in a complex environment
Understanding of the personal computer and print market including competing vendors and the channel
Strong understanding of business/finance metrics
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
Self-motivation, resilience, and energy
Thorough understanding and experience of go-to-market strategies
