A rare opportunity to join a leading Australian precision engineering company that specialises various hi-tech industries, manufacturing for both local and global markets. They own a state-of-the-art machine and fabrication shop based in the Boronia area.
Your role will encompass all aspects of QA inspection including first off and sample inspections, equipment calibration, work instructions, inspection plans and regular audits.
You will inspect using various metrology equipment. Skills using CMM is ideal.
Reporting to the QA Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) Be responsible for specific parts, inspection of parts for defects and quality control. This is a hands-on role
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Trade or Engineering qualifications.
- Experience using measuring equipment.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
- Be versatile to undertake various task in a day
- Hands on quality checking experience is a must
