Role Description:As a Sales Specialist at TrailerTech, you will manage all aspects of the sales cycle for TrailerTech trailers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring excellent customer service, meeting sales targets, and maintaining smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:Manage sales for TrailerTech trailers and showroom operations.Handle inbound leads via email, phone, face-to-face, and online portals.Follow up on leads and create systems for lead management.Assist customers through the entire sales cycle, from inquiry to purchase, providing adjustments as needed.Conduct trailer demos and walkthroughs for potential customers.Send quotes and invoices to purchasing customers.Provide thorough handover instructions and directions to customers.Manage customer payments and ensure correct invoicing before products are dispatched.Sales Goals & Reporting:Work towards sales quotas set by the Directors.Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the Sales Director.Transport & Logistics:Coordinate transportation with customers and transport companies to ensure timely delivery.Communicate with production to manage customer timelines and prioritization of orders.Assist with local pickups and loading trailers.After Sales Support & Warranty:Serve as the first point of contact for warranty claims and after-sales support.Organize and follow warranty procedures to pass to the service team.Assist after-sales representatives with claims and troubleshooting.Coordinate the QC team for any quality issues or defects in products.Quality Control:Oversee the QC checks for all outgoing stock.Ensure products meet quality standards before delivery.Record stock images during QC checks and maintain proper filing.Stock Ordering:Work with Directors to ensure timely ordering of stock and monitor inventory levels.Ensure correct quantities, models, and colors are ordered to prevent stock shortages.Market Knowledge & Competitor Analysis:Understand industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt the sales approach.Trade Shows & Marketing:Attend relevant trade shows and marketing events to promote the business.Customer Service Excellence:Set positive examples for internal employees.Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction.Support company policies and customer service standards.Qualifications:Strong communication and customer service skills.Proven sales and sales management experience.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Knowledge of the equipment and trailer industry is a plus.Why Join TrailerTech?Work for a family-run, Australian-owned business.Be part of a growing company with opportunities for career progression.Enjoy a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to make an impact.Full-time, on-site role with hands-on involvement in all areas of the sales process.If you’re passionate about trailers, enjoy working with customers, and thrive in a goal-oriented environment, apply today to join the TrailerTech team!
