This is a rare opportunity to work in a well-established Australian Disability Enterprise. We are looking for an experienced Employment Support Officer to assist our supported employees (employees with disability) within our Print finishing floor located in Nedlands.

About the Role
The Employment Support Officers’ role includes:
- Providing support to supported employees to meet production goals and quality standards in a workplace setting
- Providing individual training and support to supported employees in achieving their goals relating to work practices and Individual Employment Plans (IEP)
- Preparing regular case and training progress notes for all supported employees and entering these on to cloud based software
- Discussing any behaviours of concern with the supported employee, attending meetings and reporting, as necessary
- Updating rosters, recording leave and entering other employee information
- Conducting workplace and personal plan meetings, time trials, assisting with wage assessments, goal setting and planning, updating part of the IEP
- Workplace health and safety compliance including preparing incident reports as required
- Being an area warden for a designated area - training will be provided
- Assisting in organising inclusive workplace events.
Who We are Looking For
The successful applicant must be able to meet the following requirements:
- A minimum Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support/Community Services or equivalent
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- Sound written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated ability to provide efficient and valued personal assistance to people with disability
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- MS Office skills
- Current Police Clearance and a NDIS Worker Screening Check
- COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with WA Directions
- WA Driver's License
